Position: Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using data from various sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, etc.).
• Build and manage data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models/datasets for reusable reporting.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance across all dashboards and data sources.
• Participate in BI process improvements, including automation and data refresh optimizations.
• Support the integration of Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with Power BI Service — publishing, workspace management, and access control.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles (star schema, normalization, relationships).
• Familiarity with SSAS tabular models or semantic layers (Microsoft PASS or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
